The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking a clinical or counseling psychologist to provide direct patient care to adult individuals detained by ICE in GA facilities. The successful candidate should be culturally informed, comfortable in correctional settings, and have a demonstrated interest in advancing mental health equity through clinical care. This is a hybrid role, with monthly on-site visits to the correctional facility.
General Responsibilities:
Evaluation and treatment of detained individuals; collaboration with interdisciplinary mental healthcare team members; participation in patient safety and quality improvement activities. This is a direct patient care position.

Minimum Qualifications
PsyD, PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology f
Georgia Psychology License
Strong interpersonal, communication, and professional skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in correctional settings; Bilingual – Spanish + English

Employment in this role may be contingent upon extramural funding and successful performance and may be terminated or reduced in percentage of appointment if such funding is not secured or ceases to be available.
