American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit requiring an active KS or compact RN license and CPI certification.

Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit within a psychiatric facility with 108 beds
-
Adult psychiatric patient population with diagnoses including mood disorders, psychosis, SI/HI, and depression

Patient ratio of 12:1

Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
36-40 hours per week

Weekend work required 2-4 shifts per 4-week schedule

No call requirements

No floating required

Uses Pinpoint EHR

Active RN license (KS or Compact)

Current CPR certification

Current CPI certification
-
Prior psychiatric nursing experience required

2 years of experience preferred

Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting

Work collaboratively with unit supervisors and interdisciplinary team members

Candidates should be reliable, flexible, empathetic, and sympathetic to the patient population

Scrub color required is grey or black, scrubs only

Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
