Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $21.00/hour
Experience: ACT-208 Guard Card required (or willingness to obtain)
Type: Temporary (Temp-to-Hire); part-time hours, with opportunity for hire after 1,040 hours
Schedule: Tuesday 1:00 PM-5:00 PM, Wednesday 12:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday 1:00 PM-5:00 PM, Friday 1:00 PM-5:00 PM

Job Description:

Observe and report - no direct engagement or detainment of individuals

Log incidents and write clear, accurate reports

Maintain expert witness documentation standards

Use basic computer systems for reporting and record-keeping

Monitor library grounds to help ensure a safe environment for patrons and staff
Position Requirements:

Hard skills: ACT-208 Guard Card (required or willing to obtain); incident logging and report writing; basic computer proficiency; familiarity with expert witness documentation standards

Soft skills: Calm and professional under pressure; strong verbal and written communication; organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable; brings genuine Aloha Spirit to every interaction
