Title: Patient Services Lead
Location: Mount Vernon Family Health
City: Mount Vernon, WA
Position: Full-time, non-exempt (hourly), Monday–Friday, with regular work hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm.
Compensation: The full wage scale is $21 - $30.43 per hour. Placement within the wage range is determined by the candidate’s relevant experience.
Bonus: Candidates are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus of $1,000 when accepting a full-time position (0.75 - 1.0 FTE) or $500 when accepting a part-time position (0.5 - 0.74 FTE) (Subject to payback clause).

PSL accrues at 1 hour per 40 hours worked
EIB accrues up to 32 hours per year (pro-rated based on hours worked) for both part-time and full-time employees, with a maximum of 480 hours

Responsible for the daily operations of the front office staff, including personnel management, scheduling, patient service, and general administrative duties. Supports staff in providing the best quality care for our patients while adhering to company policies and procedures. This role also provides leadership to administrative staff as assigned by the Patient Services Supervisor and Practice Manager. Actual duties are site specific, and may include some or all of the duties listed below.
Adheres to assigned work schedule (attendance and punctuality).
Assures the overall smooth operations of the front office.
Works in conjunction with Patient Services Supervisor and Practice Manager.
Under direction of Practice Manager, assists with hiring, training, scheduling, reviews, mentoring and conflict resolution.
Active member of the team participating in the daily functions of the office as needed including but not limited to phone support, medical records, timely processing of fee slips, deposits, and accounts receivable.
Acts as liaison between staff and management at site.
Procures and maintains office equipment and supplies as directed by the Patient Services Supervisor and Practice Manager.
Payroll (as directed by Manager): Reviews and approves staff PTO hours and time cards.
Promotes and participates in company projects as assigned.
Regularly communicates pertinent information to management and staff.
Actively supports the vision, mission, goals and objectives of Family Care Network, and interacts with other individuals, groups, and/or departments in making the vision a reality.
Performs job duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Accurately perform detailed work, (i.e plan, multitask, organize and prioritize work).
Competency in EMR and practice management systems.
Establish good employee relations including conflict resolution.
Discern and maintains confidentiality (i.e. HIPAA, proprietary information, disciplinary actions, etc.).

Solve problems, issues and concerns in a professional manner.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency working with MS Word, Excel, and Databases.
Comprehend and communicate information accurately and clearly (verbally and in writing, in person and via phone) with patients, all levels of personnel, and other individuals and groups.

Physical Requirements:
Performing the duties of this job requires ability to: stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities include: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
