Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, laundry, and carpet cleaning to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, leaf blowers, and steam cleaners with skill and safety awareness.
- Handle manual tasks like heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary to access hard-to-reach areas or perform outdoor cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout each visit.
- Maintain meticulous records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any issues encountered during shifts to ensure accountability and quality control.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, surface sanitation, floor care, carpet cleaning, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures for different surfaces and environments to ensure thorough sanitation.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not mandatory.
