About the Role
We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to oversee the sourcing and production process for apparel products, from development through bulk production, for a mass market apparel retailer. This individual partners with cross functional teams and global vendor partners to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met across apparel categories.

This role offers a base salary of $100,000 to $135,000 per year.
What You'll Do
The Sourcing Manager manages vendor relationships and supports sourcing strategy across apparel categories, partnering with Product Development, Merchandising, Technical Design, and Production teams throughout the product lifecycle. This person negotiates pricing, lead times, and production capacity with overseas factories, and monitors production timelines to ensure on time delivery, resolving sourcing or production issues as they arise.
This role evaluates factory performance and supports continuous improvement in quality, cost, and efficiency, while maintaining a strong understanding of market trends, sourcing opportunities, and global manufacturing capabilities. The Sourcing Manager also ensures products meet quality standards and company compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of sourcing experience in the apparel industry
Experience sourcing apparel for mass market retailers
Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain processes
Experience working with overseas factories and vendor partners
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
