Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Weekend Marina Property Porter Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the marina property while providing excellent customer service. Your duties will include transporting guests and staff around the marina, assisting with property maintenance, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors during weekend shifts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver's license. (Commercial license not required)
- Clean driving record of at least 2 years (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance)
- Able to work Sat - Sun , 8am - 4:30pm
- Ability to repetitively lift 75+ lbs (furniture, appliances, household items)
- Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600+ lbs.
- Follows instructions from Senior Drivers / Field Operations Admin / Route Supervisors while working quickly and efficiently
- Must work well with others and represent Copia Resources Inc professionally
- Ability to send emails, text messages and picture messages by cell phone
- Ability to make decisions and think outside of the box
- Experience with waste management is a plus (NOT required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but NOT REQUIRED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record of at Least 2 yrs.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving and loading/unloading.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
Previous experience as a Porter or in a similar custodial or facilities maintenance role is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended period
