Stained Glass Production Specialist

Reports to: Studio Production Lead

Shift Schedule: 7am - 5:30pm [Monday - Thursday]

Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals ready to launch a hands-on career in stained glass. No prior experience in the field is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a drive to grow. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and restoration of stained glass windows and related components
- Learn and apply traditional and modern stained glass techniques including cutting, glazing, leading, cementing and packaging
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate tools and materials with care
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support senior artisans and team members with daily tasks and project milestones
- Prepare finished products for transport by crating and securing glass panels
- Participate in hands-on training sessions to develop craftsmanship and technical knowledge
- Document work completed and track materials used as required
- Adapt to production priorities and contribute to project deadlines
- Handle glass and other fragile materials with attention and care

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, restoration, woodworking, glazing, or another hands-on production environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, learn new processes, and work safely with tools and materials.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
This position involves regular hands-on production work in a studio or shop environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle glass, tools, materials, and small components.
- Ability to bend, reach, crouch, kneel, and move throughout the production workspace.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Ability to safely handle fragile glass panels and materials using appropriate equipment, procedures, and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspection work, including identifying defects, damage, residue, and quality concerns.
- Must be able to follow required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
