One Day In July provides investment management and fiduciary financial advice, generally focused on index funds, to clients across the United States. Our growth has been rapid, and we are expanding our administrative team to help ensure the firm can continue to meet its high standards for excellent client service while remaining in compliance with all applicable regulations. This position will work with our experienced financial advisor team and will be based out of our St. Petersburg, FL location to service clients in the area.
Job Description
As a Client Services Associate at One Day In July, you will assist the financial advisors with the following duties:
- Assist Advisor Team with calls from both prospective and existing clients; schedule meetings and manage client meetings.
- Review materials related to new clients and accounts to ensure proper documentation and help facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- Update client records, organize communications and take corrective action as needed in both Charles Schwab and the company CRM.
- Coordinate with clients to complete various paperwork and other tasks.
- Prioritize and track items that need to be accomplished while managing deadlines.
- Become an expert in the day-to-day activities of the business and be able to train others.
- This role requires you to plan, set up, and attend occasional offsite events. You must have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel, along with the ability to transport supplies to and from events.
A strong candidate will:
- Have a proven record of providing superior client service, attention to detail, and documentation.
- Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and how they apply to investment management.
- Demonstrate financial acumen and a strong interest in investment management strategies.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Be proactive: identify opportunities and problems and take them to the next level without being asked.
- Focus on processes and controls with the ability to understand and assess risk.
- Have a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Salary
- $65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience.
