Panta Rhei Productions is a growing commercial design and fabrication studio in Lafayette, Louisiana. We create dimensional signage, architectural graphics, wayfinding systems, vehicle graphics, vinyl, banners, environmental branding, trade show displays, promotional builds, and custom fabrication projects for businesses throughout Acadiana.
We’re a startup, and we’re growing quickly. That means we need someone who can wear a few hats now, help us build strong systems, and eventually train others as the company grows and roles become more specialized.
This role will work closely with company leadership across design, production, sales, marketing, and operations. You won’t be left to figure everything out alone, but you will need to take ownership, ask smart questions, and keep projects moving without waiting for every step to be handed to you.
We’re building systems in real time, not pretending everything arrived fully polished in a binder from corporate.
This is not a placeholder position. We’re hiring for someone we hope can become a key long-term player in the company, with the potential to grow into a higher-level sales leadership role as Panta Rhei grows.
Non-negotiable
Sign industry estimating experience is required.
This role needs someone who already understands how signage projects come together: materials, production, installation, timelines, client expectations, and the details that can make or break a quote.
If you know signs, you know the estimate is where the project either gets set up correctly or quietly cursed for the next three weeks.
Outside sales experience is also highly important. We need someone who can communicate with clients, build relationships, understand project needs, and help bring in new work.
What this role includes
- Preparing estimates for signage, graphics, and fabrication projects
- Reviewing project details, measurements, materials, files, photos, and scope
- Communicating with clients about options, timelines, approvals, and next steps
- Turning inquiries into clear, buildable project scopes
- Participating in sales conversations from first inquiry through estimate approval
- Supporting outside sales efforts and helping bring in new work
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Coordinating with design, production, and installation
- Helping improve estimating, intake, sales, and project management systems as we grow
- Eventually helping train others as roles become more specialized
The ideal person
You are:
- Experienced in sign industry estimating
- Experienced in outside sales, client development, or relationship-based business development
- Comfortable talking with clients and asking the right questions
- Able to understand materials, production methods, and installation considerations
- Organized, self-starting, and clear in communication
- Collaborative without needing to be babysat
- Honest about what you know and willing to learn what you don’t
- Comfortable working closely with leadership while still taking real ownership
- Interested in helping shape a stronger sales and estimating process
- Capable of growing into a leadership role over time
This is not a hide-in-the-corner-and-wait-for-instructions role. We need someone who can think, communicate, follow through, and help us keep the wheels on while we grow.

Compensation
This is a salaried position with pay based on experience.
We are still in the startup phase, but our full intention is for compensation to grow as the company grows and as this role expands. We want someone who understands the current stage of the business, sees the long-term opportunity, and has the experience and ambition to grow with us.
