Qualifications Education & Experience Required:
5+ years of experience in the quality inspection or quality assurance field.
5 years working in construction for industrial, residential and commercial projects.
- Experienced in using precision measuring equipment.
- The ability to interpret drawings.
- The ability to learn quickly and be able to work productively without direct supervision.
- Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Highly organized with faultless attention to detail.
- Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Inspection for Construction Material Testing (Rebar, Reinforcement structural components and soil)
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- First Article Experience
- Reviewing Bill of Material
- CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine)
Duties, Authorities, & Responsibilities:
- Highlight all concerns directly back to the QA and production team and record in the quality monitoring system.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the receiving/in-process/final production process.
- Track data and report trends and feedback to QA and production.
- Follow and create detailed work instructions to inspect mechanical, electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies and wire harnesses.
- Provide detailed feedback for QA and production improvements to ensure high quality standards are maintained.
- Prep area for external audits and performs internal audit
- Calibration tracking and enforcement.
- Help to create and develop calibration tracking and enforcement.
- Develop the quality processes within the production area to ensure compliance.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for defects prior to delivery.
- Inspect all inbound materials for defects prior to receipt.
- Inspect all outgoing materials for defects prior to removal.
- Inspect all inbound materials for defects prior to delivery.
- Verify that the inspected product meets the customer s specifications.
- Verify that the inspected product is in good condition and that it meets the customer s specifications.
- Ensure that the inspected product is packaged correctly before it is shipped to the customer.
- Ensure that the inspected product is properly stored before it is shipped to the customer.
- Ensure that the inspected product is properly stored before it is delivered to the customer.
- Perform quality control on incoming products and perform inspection duties on outgoing products as needed.
- Assist with documentation of inspections and other non-routine activities as assigned by management.
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
