Ruby Suites is a boutique furnished apartment community specializing in extended-stay accommodations for corporate travelers, medical professionals, relocating residents, and long-term guests. Our housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards that set Ruby Suites apart. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys creating beautiful spaces, and understands that attention to detail makes all the difference.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Public Spaces Attendant to join our team. This position will begin with a primary focus on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the property. After a successful 90-day training and evaluation period, the employee will transition into cleaning and preparing furnished apartment units while continuing to assist with public spaces as needed.
This position is ideal for someone with prior housekeeping experience in hotels, vacation rentals, residential cleaning, or a combination of both. The successful candidate will understand the importance of balancing efficiency with exceptional quality and will be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all common areas, including hallways, stairwells, elevators, lounges, fitness center, conference room, theater room, game room, laundry facilities, and public restrooms.

Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and polish surfaces to company standards.

Monitor building cleanliness throughout the day and proactively address areas needing attention.

Remove trash and maintain waste and recycling areas.

Identify maintenance concerns and report them promptly.
Apartment Housekeeping (After Training Period)

Clean and prepare furnished apartments for incoming residents and guests.

Change linens and make beds according to company standards.

Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms.

Inspect units for cleanliness, damages, and missing items.

Ensure apartments meet Ruby Suites' quality standards before occupancy.

Restock unit supplies and amenities as needed.

Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Communicate effectively with management and team members.

Provide friendly and professional interactions with residents and guests.

Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, residential cleaning service, vacation rental, healthcare facility, or similar environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Ability to identify cleaning needs without constant direction.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.

Experience cleaning furnished apartments or extendedstay accommodations.

Experience in both public area cleaning and guest room/unit cleaning.

Knowledge of proper cleaning products and techniques.
