Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for a Controls Engineer to serve in a staff augmentation role. This position will be onsite at the client site and involve the programming and configuration of controls systems including PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI and other components to ensure proper system operation. It will also require Pharmaceutical GxP documentation and adherence to procedures. GxP work can include; system lifecycle documentation, development/execution of equipment validation protocols, instrument commissioning, electrical troubleshooting, control system startups, and equipment Change Controls.
Qualifications and Experience:

3+ years of control systems integration experience.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in writing and executing GxP documentation including CS, FAT, SAT, SDS, HDS and other system lifecycle documentation.

Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems, word processing and spreadsheets.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to document solutions and work independently.

Flexibility, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and work in variable conditions.
Training or Experience with the following is a plus:

Proficiency with Rockwell PLCs, FactoryTalk View SE is preferred.

Experience with DeltaV or B&R is advantageous.

Knowledge of computer networking and configuration

Experience with the installation of control panels and instrumentation

Experience with relational database management systems, such as MS SQL

Experience with reporting and data visualization platforms, such as SSRS, Ignition, and Power BI

Experience with organization/documentation of Engineering Changes during equipment startup.

GAMP® validation and commissioning experience
