Safety Supervisor (Manufacturing / Agricultural Processing)

A leading agricultural processing and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join their team. This is a key on-site role supporting operations, packaging, warehouse, and agriculture teams to maintain a strong safety culture and ensure full regulatory compliance.
About the Role
As Safety Supervisor, you will work closely with the Director of Safety to implement, manage, and continuously improve safety programs across the sites. You will serve as the go-to safety resource, conduct inspections, lead investigations, and deliver training to help keep our employees safe every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of comprehensive safety programs across all departments
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, document findings, and work with leadership to resolve issues promptly
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and hazards; perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans
- Develop and deliver safety training to new hires and provide ongoing education to all staff
- Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, inspection logs, and training documentation
- Act as a key member of site safety committees and provide expert guidance on safe work practices
- Stay current with relevant OSHA/MIOSHA and federal safety regulations
What You Bring
- Minimum 7 years of progressive safety experience in general industry or construction (a Bachelor’s degree in a related field can offset part of the experience requirement)
- Proven track record conducting safety inspections and managing equipment/production hazards
- Strong knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard HR/safety software
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
