Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and perform general facility maintenance across 3 hotel properties located in Delaware and Marion, OH. You will play a vital role in keeping our guest rooms and shared facilities running smoothly, safely, and in top-notch condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Drywall & Paint: Patching holes, touching up paint, and general cosmetic room repairs.
- Plumbing Maintenance: Replacing shower valves/faucet cartridges, unclogging drains, and fixing minor leaks.
- Electrical Work: Safely replacing light fixtures, wall switches, outlets, and basic electrical components.
- General Repairs: Conducting routine room inspections, fixing furniture/hardware, and addressing HVAC filter changes or minor troubleshooting.
- Guest & Staff Support: Promptly responding to work orders and maintenance requests with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Property Care: Maintaining clean and safe working conditions across all 3 property locations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on Experience: Proven track record in general building maintenance, handyman work, or facilities repair.
- Technical Skills: Strong practical experience with basic plumbing (cartridge replacement), basic electrical (outlets/lighting), and drywall repair.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation to travel between hotel locations in Delaware and Marion.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Comfortable working independently, prioritizing daily work orders, and troubleshooting basic facility issues.
- Guest-First Mindset: Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with hotel guests and staff.
