I. OBJECTIVE / GENERAL DESCRIPTION
To develop and manage programs directed at increasing sales and distribution of all brands and ensure brand management objectives are met.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervise and train assigned Sales Representatives.

Continually monitor Sales Representatives in the area of sales, stock rotation, product facing, code dates, pricing, P.O.S. placement, display activity, cooler and shelf position, customer service and other assigned responsibilities.
- Responsible for forecasting, ordering and inventory control of certain products.

Follow up on all customer complaints in close coordination with the Sales Representatives to ensure problems are solved to prevent recurrence.
- Continually monitor Sales Representatives to evaluate area and individual performance to goals/quotas on a monthly basis including riding with the Sales Representatives.

Maintain updated sales and distribution information by route for all brands and packages.

Complete all internal control records, forms and reports properly and accurately.

Check chain stores following a feature advertisement to ensure displays and appropriate P.O.S. are properly positioned.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of, and comply with, Federal and State regulations concerning the sale and promotion of alcoholic beverages.

Participate in sales training and management meetings to assist in planning and executing promotional activities.

Ensure assigned key retailer buying calls are made on a complete and timely basis.

Conduct regular team meetings for assigned staff to review sales and marketing programs and Company policy.

Establish monthly distribution, sales and merchandising quotas.

Ensure that new and non-buying accounts are called to increase sales and distribution.

Effectively communicate with other departments on work related issues (delivery, warehouse, credit, merchandising, etc.).

Carry out special projects assigned by the Sales Manager.

Follow all other company policies not specifically outlined in this job description.

Spend 70% - 80% of your work time in the field. Field time consists of:

Riding with your sales rep.

Key account calls

Team selling

Surveying with sales manager
III. SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and participate in special events and promotions targeted towards various market segments.

Carry out Company policy with regards to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Degree or equivalent in business, management or related field (equivalent related experience can be substituted for educational requirements).

Basic Computer skills.

Three years’ minimum sales experience, preferably in beverage industry.

A minimum of 2 years in Territory Management capacity.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend, lift, sit, squat, and drive for prolonged periods of time

Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in a diverse range of audiences.

Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance creating a favorable public image and maintain proper conduct.

Possess fundamental skills and ability.
-
A proficient knowledge of all sales procedures and techniques.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess strong math, time management and customer service skills.
