Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dependable Competitive Gymnastics Team Coach to join our team. This coach will work with athletes ranging from Pre-Team through Level 10 (and/or Xcel), focusing on skill development, technique, and confidence while fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate is a team player, passionate about gymnastics, and committed to athlete development and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and spot athletes on all four women’s gymnastics events (experience with boys' optional or Xcel programs is a plus)
- Plan and implement structured, level-appropriate practices
- Provide positive, constructive feedback to athletes
- Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and staff
- Attend team competitions and travel as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and encouraging environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience coaching competitive gymnastics (compulsory, optional, or Xcel)
- Strong spotting and technical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- USA Gymnastics professional membership (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
