Responsibilities:
- Receive and process new patients for admission to our agency using EMR system
- Coordinate care between referral sources, patients and clinician to ensure 48 hour admission.
- Use HIPPA compliant systems to receive and process orders for new and current patients
- Perform follow up calls to patients, families and referral sources to offer clear and supportive communication
- Perform other various coordination duties to support day to day work flow
- Complete various daily and monthly reports
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Organized and able to multi task meticulous documentation
- Goal oriented, proactive and takes initiative (great performance is recognized and rewarded)
- Participate in team meetings, events and office culture
- Experience in healthcare field (preferred 1+ years)
- Proficient with Microsoft tools; Outlook, Word, Excel. Excel a must
- Must be able to type at least 40 WPM & 8000 KPH– Will test
