Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
- Conduct field service operations such as appliance repair, plumbing connections, and equipment upgrades in accordance with safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan.
- Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including ductwork cleaning and system upgrades.
- Handle specialized refrigeration with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Document all service activities thoroughly for compliance and future reference.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance preferred.
- Proficiency reading schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans preferred
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems
- Field service experience
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components.
- Ability to operate welding equipment for metal repairs or fabrication tasks related to HVAC infrastructure.
- Experience with construction projects involving HVAC system integration or upgrades.
- Mechanical experience as a mechanic or technician in related fields is highly valued.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties.
