Role Description The Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC, Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch (12pm – 1pm). Construction experience preferred but not necessary. The Office Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of day-to-day administration requirements to ensure a functional and efficient office environment. This position will support administration, operations, accounting, human resources, and provide general administrative assistance to the project sites when necessary. Must have a strong work ethic, able to handle a fast-paced work environment, and manage multiple tasks at once (this is a MUST).
Responsibilities
- Meets and greets all visitors in a positive, friendly manner
- Notifies company personnel of visitor’s arrival while ensuring all visitor’s sign in
- Provides primary phone support, answering all incoming calls and queries and transferring to appropriate parties
- Preparing, organizing, uploading, and storing information in paper and digital form.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies
- Prepares and schedules pickups for shipments
- Typing and editing proposals
- Data Entry
- Manage and sort incoming and outgoing mail ensuring all A/P invoices are stamped, and coded appropriately
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- Prior use and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (Office 365 experience preferred, must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (i.e., fax machines, printers, and postage machines)
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
