Oakview Pet Resorts is a family owned and operated establishment. We have two locations offering a range of services. Our facilities are fast paced and exciting! No day is ever the same when working with animals. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about pets and their people. As well as candidates who are team players who will encourage themselves and others to grow. Our facilities are open 7 days a week and cater to dogs, cats, horses and exotic pets.
Hours: Part-time/Full Time - Flexible scheduling as needed, weekends and holidays required.
Location: Lake Zurich / Wauconda as needed
Responsibilities and duties:
Other responsibilities include:
- Answering phones with a smile
- Opening doors for clients/guests
- Making appointments for daycare, boarding, & grooming
- Processing paperwork for all guests
- Giving tours to potential clients, presenting contracts and up selling amenities
- Handling money and payment processing
- Keeping lobby clean and welcoming
- Cleaning up after pets when necessary Successful applicants must be mature, good communicators, and be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of animal body language as well as be able to follow directions carefully. Previous pet experience is preferred. Previous customer service is mandatory.

Essential qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent Preferred
- 1 years management experience Preferred
Desirable qualifications
Previous experience in professional Pet Care Service industry a must

- Excellent phone and communication skills
- Ability to comfortably handle large, small, and exotic animals
- Detail oriented
- Passionate about customer service
