We are an independent food vendor seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our BOH staff at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional experiences in a festival setting by assisting in food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working cooperatively with others and can handle high volume settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and assembly according to food safety and company quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning work areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Handle inventory management tasks, including monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Lift 50-75 lbs in product on occasion
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Kitchen experience, including food preparation and cooking skills, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols is essential.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
