About This Role
We are a small business in Irmo, SC that's passionate about providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Our goal is to foster a love of learning in every child, while respecting their individuality and stimulating their natural curiosity. Our experienced and certified teachers are dedicated to creating a safe and engaging space for children to grow and develop.
What You'll Do

Offer engaging activities and experiences that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children.

Show empathy and understanding when interacting with children who have special needs or require extra support.

Maintain open and honest communication with parents to keep them informed about their child's daily experiences and progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in childcare approaches and to share best practices.
Requirements

Must pass a full background check and a health screening.

Must be able to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.

Requirements include high energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.

Must have strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Nice To Haves
We're looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about working with children. If you have experience with children with special needs or a background in early childhood education, that's a plus!
