The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the proper organization of merchandise. This role involves monitoring inventory through Point-of-Sale systems and coordinating with store managers to ensure timely inventory management. The Inventory Manager plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency by accurately managing inventory data and ensuring merchandise is available when needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
- Supervise duties of Inventory Assistant and fill in as needed
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, keeping accurate records of order confirmations, shipping confirmations, packing slips, invoices, and payment confirmations.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure adequate ordering of inventory to meet operational demands as needed with store manager approval.
- Request credits as needed based on Inventory Assistant reports during unboxing of shipments.
- Accurately track inventory data, including quantities, locations, and product details.
- Generate and deliver weekly reports (inventory levels, shipments, credits) to store management.
- Assist with inventory counts following a rotation schedule.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, and vendor information obtained while employed.
- Complete required training programs as assigned to ensure job readiness and compliance with company and job-specific standards.
- Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below represent the minimum experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform this role satisfactorily.
- Associate’s degree required (3+years of retail inventory experience accepted in lieu of degree).
- Previous experience directly related to the essential duties of this role.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and Point-of Sale (POS) required.
- Ability to lift and move items 25 lbs. or heavier as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player mentality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing assigned duties.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
