We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer & Permit Coordinator specializing in pools and landscaping projects. Responsibilities

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for pool, landscape, and system designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to refine design concepts and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive schematics and construction documents that clearly communicate design intent for permitting and construction purposes.
- Coordinate permit applications by compiling necessary documentation, submitting plans to local authorities, and tracking approval processes to meet project timelines.
- Review building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations to ensure all designs adhere to legal requirements.
- Utilize Bluebeam for markup review, plan revisions, and digital collaboration with team members.
- Support system design tasks including mechanical design, interior design elements, graphic design components, and 2D animation as needed for project presentations.
Experience
- Proven experience in CAD drafting and design within the pools, landscaping, or construction industries.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino3D (including Grasshopper), SketchUp, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of schematics creation, system design principles, interior design fundamentals, mechanical design processes, and graphic visualization techniques.
- Experience coordinating permit submissions with local authorities and navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans, technical drawings, and construction documents accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members remotely. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
