EXPERIENCED PART-TIME NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT – DOWNINGTOWN, PA
Location: Downingtown, PA
Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Flexible weekday schedule with some evening availability
Hours: 20 guaranteed hours per week
Pay: $30–$35 per hour, based on experience

Balia Household Staffing is seeking an established, highly experienced nanny/family assistant for a family in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
The family is looking for a warm, energetic and proactive professional who is confident caring for an infant and comfortable providing additional household support. The family follows a gentle parenting approach and values direct communication, reliability and consistency.
CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide attentive and nurturing infant care
- Manage bottles, feeding, diapering and naps
- Plan developmentally appropriate play and activities
- Take the child on walks and neighborhood or pool outings
- Track bottles, naps and daily activities through the Huckleberry app
- Prepare child-related meals
- Complete the child’s laundry
- Keep the nursery, play areas and child-related spaces organized
- Safely transport the child to activities and appointments
- Transport the child to ISR lessons at 9:30 a.m., approximately 30 minutes away, for six weeks beginning October 26
FAMILY ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete household laundry
- Assist with cleaning, tidying and organization
- Help maintain an orderly household
- Let the family dog outside as needed
- Anticipate household needs and take initiative
- Provide occasional evening, weekend or overnight support
- Occasional local travel availability is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five or more years of professional nanny experience preferred
- Candidates with at least three strong years of experience may be considered with Early Childhood Education training or other significant childcare experience
- Extensive infant experience
- Experience caring for older children is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Professional references
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Comfortable using the Huckleberry app
- Warm, reliable, organized and highly communicative
- Able to work independently and take initiative
