Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper with 1 to 2 years experience to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our assisted living community. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, experience in custodial services, and a commitment to infection control standards. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and comfort of our residents through thorough sanitation and maintenance of communal and private spaces.
Hours: 30 hours per week with the following set schedule
- Sundays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Mondays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Tuesdays 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchen spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly to ensure safety during all cleaning tasks.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain sanitation standards throughout the facility.
- Operate janitorial equipment safely for floor care, including sweeping, mopping, an vacuuming
Skills
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience with knowledge of proper sanitation protocol.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards within healthcare or assisted living environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a respectful approach toward residents and staff.
- Time management to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
- Familiarity with manual handling techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
