OR Technician (Surgical Technologist)
Location: Sugar Land, TX 77479
Duration: Contract Assignment
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Prepare operating rooms with necessary surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Function as a scrub assistant during surgical and invasive procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Anticipate surgeon needs and efficiently pass instruments and supplies during procedures.
Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transport as needed.
Perform instrument counts and ensure surgical supplies are accounted for.
Support perioperative patient care and contribute to positive surgical outcomes.
Act as a resource and role model for other staff members when appropriate.
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through NBSTSA or TS-C (Tech in Surgery – Certified) through NCCT.
Strong knowledge of sterile processing, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures.

General Surgery
Gynecology (GYN)
ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)
Orthopedics
Urology
Vascular Surgery
Robotics
Mako Robotics
Preferred experience in Neuro Spine and Pediatric Surgery.
