Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for transactions, sales, and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist with food handling duties such as stocking supplies, organizing inventory, and ensuring proper food storage.
- Support team members with food preparation tasks during busy periods to ensure quick service times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is advantageous but training will be provided.
- Basic math skills are essential for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management.
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments will help you succeed.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior kitchen or café experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; we welcome motivated individuals eager to grow their skills. Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
