Shifts: Monday - Thursday
- 1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm
- 2nd shift: 4:30pm-3:30am
Purpose:
Operate lathe and/or milling machines to turn, bore, thread, form, or face metal materials. Education: High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
General / Job Responsibilities:
- Capable of operating simple machines, using simple gaging techniques such as go/no-go gages, height gages, thread gages, and ring gages
- Able to make simple machine adjustments and change simple tools such as drill bits, inserts, etc.
- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other employees
- Monitor the performance and output of your process
- Meet or exceed production targets for output and quality, quickly and efficiently
- Maintain equipment, fixtures, and work area in good orderly condition
- Notify supervisor, maintenance, or quality immediately when a problem occurs with any part of your job, equipment, or product
- Clearly identify product by item number, status, and quantity
- Maintain accurate production data, and report daily
- Follow all work instructions and control plans
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Use the tools given to track the quality performance of the product and your process
- Assist or perform any other duties that may be required
- Move to different positions during down time to maximize efficiencies
- Maintain equipment in excellent condition to minimize downtime
- Train new associates in any of the above duties
Requirements:
- Some heavy lifting may be required (maximum of 40 lbs.)
- Ability to work in shop environment (heat, cold, noise)
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
- Knowledge of basic Mathematics
- Multi-tasking ability

Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of forcefrequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
