Capital Ford of Lillington is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering quality repairs and exceptional service. What You'll Be Doing
- Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems to identify concerns and verify repairs.
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs or services needed.
- Provide accurate estimates of the time required for additional repairs.
- Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings
