As a key player in our logistics network, you’ll be responsible for transporting Laundry Transport Carts using box trucks. Your dedication will help keep our operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied.
Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques or equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Follow planned routes accurately while adapting to traffic conditions to meet delivery schedules.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, especially when handling freight on flatbeds or tanker trucks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the route.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with a focus on freight transportation.
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.
- Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and handling various types of freight including refrigerated goods or hazardous materials if applicable.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial driving, vehicle maintenance, and cargo securement.

Pay: From $21.90 per hour

Experience:
- Box Truck 24 or 26 ft: 2 years (Required)
- Air brake: 2 years (Required)
- loading and unloading box truck: 1 year (Preferred)
