Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting standards. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in QuickBooks, and at least two years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist in payroll processing and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Provide support for clients with accounting and financial inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
