Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Construction Project Manager is required for electrical construction projects across Virginia, covering new construction and renovation work. This role would suit someone with strong electrical contracting experience who can manage project delivery, commercial control, customer relationships and site coordination from preconstruction through completion.
You will take ownership of project budgets, schedules, change orders, procurement, billing coordination and contract requirements, while working closely with foremen, project engineers, assistant project managers, estimators, general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors and utility providers.

- Salary range of $100,000 - $125,000

The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Construction Project Manager Role:
- Manage electrical construction projects in line with contract terms, schedules, budgets and customer expectations
- Work with foremen, project engineers, assistant project managers and estimators to define and control project scope
- Monitor project budgets, costs, projections and monthly work-in-progress updates
- Review drawings, specifications and construction documents to confirm requirements and identify value engineering opportunities
- Prepare and manage change orders, pricing, negotiations, reports, spreadsheets and project communications
- Coordinate procurement activity for materials, tools, equipment, major packages and subcontracts
- Support billing activity and work with accounting teams to maintain positive cash flow
- Build relationships with customers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and power companies
- Mentor and develop members of the project management team
- Promote safe working practices across job sites
Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- Experience managing projects within electrical contracting, electrical construction or a closely related construction environment
- Strong knowledge of project contracts, budgets, schedules, drawings, specifications, change orders and procurement
- Ability to manage customer relationships, project teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders
- Experience preparing reports, spreadsheets, cost projections and project documentation
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to manage billing, costs and cash flow
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Ability to work in construction jobsite environments, including indoor and outdoor conditions
