Schedule: Night shift

About the Role We are hiring a Registered Nurse Med/Surg for a 13-week night shift assignment in Machias, ME. This role supports safe, effective, patient-family-centered care for adult and pediatric Med/Surg patients in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct Med/Surg nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Respond quickly and efficiently during emergency situations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
- Follow confidentiality, safety, and infection control standards.
- Support the facility's mission, vision, and patient care values.
Requirements
- Active Maine Registered Nurse license required.
- BLS required.
- ACLS preferred/required per facility need.
- PALS preferred/required per facility need.
- Cerner experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills required.
- Ability to function independently required.
- Holiday coverage required.
