Job Summary:
The Corporate Accounting team at K1 Speed is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements across our multiple entities. You’ll gain exposure to ad hoc projects and play a key role in building processes that enhance efficiency and automate routine activities. This position reports to the Assistant Controller, and offers opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and a chance to make a significant impact on the company’s continued success.
What You’ll Do:

Perform various month end close tasks, including preparing month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analysis

Assist with the month end close process for assigned international subsidiaries

Responsible for accruals, fixed assets, and other accounts as assigned

Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures

Liaison with third party accounting firms and other departments to ensure correct reporting

Drive process improvements through evaluation of accounting day to day activities and assist with implementing changes for improved efficiencies

Prepare audit requests for external audit

Assist with sales and use tax monthly filings

Participate in special projects, data analysis, and reporting as required by management
What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting, finance, business administration or related field

5+ Years of full general ledger accounting experience
