Job Overview:
AC Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our patients' rehabilitation journey by assisting our licensed physical therapists in providing high-quality care and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Assist in exercises and activities as directed by the physical therapist.
-Assist with some administrative duties (scheduling)
Experience:
- Prior experience in a clinical setting or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is beneficial.
- Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient settings is a plus.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient care are essential.
Candidate should have an interest in fitness, physical therapy or related medical field ( students that consider getting into physical therapy program have a great opportunity for exposure to physical therapy profession)
