If you like meeting people and turning a first handshake into a real relationship, this is for you. OrthoNOW is one of South Florida's largest orthopedic urgent care networks, and most people, including plenty of doctors, medical administrators, coaches, and the general public still do not know we exist. Your job is to change that, one conversation at a time.
OrthoNOW is orthopedic urgent care – our clinics operate like a general urgent care with walk-in access, but specialized in bone, joint, and muscle pains and injuries. With on-site X-ray, casting and splinting, transparent pricing, and specialist providers, we actually treat patients on the first visit instead of sending them off to wait weeks for a surgeon's office (i.e. no referral runaround, real treatment the first visit). When someone rolls an ankle or breaks a wrist on a Saturday, we are an accessible, cost-effective, quality option. Your job is to spread the word so every medical office, athletic program, school, nursing home, and community partner in Miami knows there are specialized ortho clinics for pains and injuries.
Note you are not selling, you are spreading awareness of a medical office. The difference is you are not pressuring or exaggerating, as you don’t need to. Life naturally brings pains and injuries (shoulders start hurting, grandmother falls, etc.), so your job is just to educate people so the next time that naturally occurs, they know we exist.
Duties
- Get out into the field across Miami-Dade and Broward and introduce OrthoNOW to medical offices, athletic programs, and community partners.
- Build real relationships and follow up so we stay top of mind the moment someone needs us.
- Keep notes on who you met, what they said, and next steps (note trackers will be provided)
- Share your takeaways and learnings so we get smarter every week.
Requirements
- You can walk into a room cold, start a conversation, and leave people glad they met you.
- A “no, not interested” does not rattle you. You follow up and/or move onto the next place.
- Organized and reliable. You track your visits and next steps without dropping things. Reliability matters to us more than a perfect resume.
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred in this market.
- A personal car, a valid Florida license, and current auto insurance. This is a get-in-the-car-and-go role.
- Optional but preferred: any sales, hospitality, coaching, or field-marketing background, and a real interest in healthcare or sports medicine.
The Details
- Part-time, starting at 20 hours a week, out in the field during business hours, with room to expand as we see success.
- Paid hourly, with opportunity for milestone bonuses as we expand.
- You will work directly with our Growth team and get a clear target list of places, approved materials, and support.
- We care about your drive, organization, and people skills more than years on a resume.
