Part-time · Flexible schedule · Oahu-wide
Keiki Coders & Keiki Athletes run after-school coding, STEAM, and multi-sport/dance programs at schools and parks across Oahu, from Honolulu and East Honolulu to Ewa, Central, Windward, and the North Shore. We've taught over 1,500 students. We're hiring a Site Coordinator to keep our programs running smoothly across sites, jump in to sub when needed, and help capture what's happening on the ground.
This is a great fit for someone who wants flexible afternoon hours, is reliable and organized, works well with kids and school staff, and doesn't mind driving between sites.
Schedule
- 10–20 hrs/week, flexible. We build your schedule around your availability and go over specifics with you.
- On-site coverage happens Mon–Fri, 2:00–5:30 pm (Wednesdays from 1:30 pm), so afternoon availability is key.
- Marketing and admin work can be done remotely on your own time.
What you'll do
On-site program support (~75%)
- Be on-site at assigned schools each afternoon (about 2–2.5 hrs/day) as on-call support.
- Step in as a substitute teacher when a class needs coverage. This takes priority when it comes up.
- Manage program equipment and supplies: organize and track inventory in our storage, and purchase materials as needed (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).
Marketing & ops support (~20%)
- Capture photos and short videos across sites for our social media.
- Help with light admin: parent/teacher reminders, basic flyers, coordination.
Site management (~5%)
- Be a professional, friendly point of contact with school principals, after-school directors, and teachers.
- Spot issues on the ground and flag them to our operations team quickly.
What we're looking for

- Comfortable and professional around elementary-age kids and school staff.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple sites.
- Comfortable taking photos and short videos on-site.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between our program sites across Oahu and move curriculum and equipment place to place.
- Must pass a background check and any clearances required by our school partners.
- No teaching experience required. We train you.
- A plus: social media experience (creating posts, familiarity with Instagram/Facebook).
Pay & perks
- $24/hr for coordinator work.
- $50/hr when you're substitute teaching a class.
- Mileage reimbursed for travel between sites and supply runs.
