Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Therapists to join our team. The RBT or BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with autism and developmental disabilities. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their behavioral goals and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to promote effective communication and continuity of care.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Experience
- Previous experience in behavioral health, special education, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques and principles is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong skills in data collection and medical documentation are essential for this role.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow medical records accurately is required.
