Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, motivated and team-oriented Project Manager to join our fast-growing healthcare software company in our Sacramento office. The selected candidate would be responsible for managing project implementations and training, in addition to working closely with other clients regarding other software and business development needs.
Other responsibilities include business requirement gathering, planning and managing the implementation from start to finish, conducting software training, coordinating with the technical/support team on system setup, and developing and maintaining key relationships with clients. Other tasks may include longer term client assignments and engagements related to the client’s use of the software system.Travel of up to 50% may be required for certain projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage specific client implementations from start to finish
- Develop a training plan tailored to a client’s needs in the software platform
- Work with the client to understand their business and operations
- Assisting with the Business Analysis team on any custom enhancements or business processes that cannot be handled through the application
- Ensure smooth communication and work flow between the client and all applicable MedVision teams
- Assist in development of training materials or setup of implementation team tools/systems
- Building and updating the client’s project plan in the Project Management system MedVision utilizes
- Supporting customers and resolving customer service requests through go-live and potentially afterwards
- Training clients on all applicable processes in QuickCap and for their business cycle in combinations of on-site and remote sessions
- Potential travel to client sites for extended periods of time
- Participate in daily, weekly and monthly implementation meetings/call
- Occasionally attend and participate in company assigned trade shows, conferences, regional meetings and functions
- Develop and build relationships with industry consultants, influencers and industry partners
- Other activities or special projects related to clients or the software system as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years project management experience
- BA or BS degree
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and also independently
- Basic understanding and knowledge of computers and working with software products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail; the ability to multi-task efficiently is essential
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to critically think and solve problems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
