Duties
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest relations by addressing needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate billing and cash handling
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with guests confidently
