Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be adept at working with hand tools and machinery. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, and fixtures using wood, drywall, and other materials.
- Perform mold remediation and water damage restoration tasks as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery effectively to complete projects.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material requirements and project timelines.
- Install electrical fixtures and perform light electrical work as required.
- Execute construction painting tasks to finish surfaces as per project specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with drywall installation techniques and water damage restoration practices.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is preferred.
- Experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
- Basic electrical skills are advantageous for fixture installation tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
