This Is the Physical Therapist Role
As a Physical Therapist at Alpha Physical Therapy, you will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions while helping them improve strength, mobility, balance, confidence, and overall function.
You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your patients and guide them through each stage of rehabilitation.
You will:
- Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient goals, movement limitations, and clinical findings
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Guide patients through post-operative rehabilitation
- Help patients improve strength, mobility, stability, balance, and functional movement
- Progress patients through appropriate return-to-activity and return-to-function programs
- Use therapeutic exercise, movement-based treatment, education, and clinical reasoning to improve outcomes
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and progress
- Educate patients on movement, injury prevention, home exercise, and long-term health
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with other clinicians and team members
- Build strong patient relationships that improve engagement and follow-through
