Position: Shipping Assistant (Shipping Manager in Training)
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with required evening availability during weekly live sales.

Pay: $24–$26 per hour, based on experience.
Growth Opportunity: This position is designed as a long-term development opportunity. You will begin as a Shipping Assistant while training alongside our Shipping Manager to learn every aspect of the department. As you demonstrate proficiency, leadership, and a thorough understanding of our operations, you will gradually take on additional responsibilities with the long-term goal of transitioning into the Shipping Manager role. This is a comprehensive training process that takes time and is intended for someone looking to build a lasting career with Pink Heart Healing.
Training Period: 90-day introductory period with ongoing mentorship and professional development.
Travel: Some travel is required for gem shows and company events.
Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time Shipping Assistant who enjoys working with crystals and takes pride in carefully packing valuable, fragile items for customers worldwide. This role is primarily focused on shipping and fulfillment while providing a structured opportunity to learn the operations and leadership responsibilities of the Shipping Manager position.
You will work closely with the current Shipping Manager to develop a thorough understanding of our shipping processes, quality standards, inventory flow, and team operations. As you demonstrate proficiency and leadership, you will take on increasing responsibility with the goal of growing into the Shipping Manager role.
The position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn new systems. Previous experience with crystals is not required but is a plus. You will work on a computer daily and should be comfortable learning Shopify and other software used throughout our operations.

Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
- Pick, verify, and carefully pack customer orders.
- Safely package fragile and high-value crystal specimens.
- Print shipping labels and process shipments through Shopify and shipping software.
- Ensure all orders meet company shipping deadlines.
- Maintain an organized packing station and restock shipping supplies.
- Follow quality control procedures before shipment.
- Maintain accuracy while working efficiently during high-volume fulfillment periods.
Shipping Manager Training
- Train alongside the Shipping Manager to learn department operations.
- Learn shipping workflows, quality standards, and fulfillment procedures.
- Assist with coordinating daily shipping priorities and workflow.
- Learn inventory movement and communication between departments.
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization.
- Assist with training and supporting future shipping team members as experience grows.
- Provide support and coverage for the Shipping Manager when appropriate.
Live Sale Participation
- Actively assist during weekly live sales, including evening availability.
- Pull, organize, and stage sold items in real time.
- Accurately label and track live sale purchases.
- Support team coordination during fast-paced sales events.
- Prepare live sale items for post-sale fulfillment.
Shipping Related Support
- Assist with shipping-related customer questions.
- Help resolve missing packages or delivery issues.
- Monitor order status and checkout deadlines.
- Communicate shipping concerns and fulfillment issues to management.
Additional Operational Support
- Assist with operational tasks as needed.
- Support special projects, inventory organization, and event preparation.
Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency in Shopify, Google Workspace, and Trello is a plus.
- Basic understanding of mineral names and formations is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
