Ivy Academy is seeking a Math RTI Ed. Asst. to join for the 2026–27 school year. We are an environmental public charter school that blends academic rigor, outdoor learning, project-based experiences, & strong student relationships to create meaningful educational experiences for all learners. We are looking for an educator who believes every student can grow with the right support, structure, and encouragement.
Position Overview
The Math RTI Ed. Asst. will provide targeted math intervention and academic support for students who need additional assistance in mastering foundational and grade-level math skills. This role will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, Exceptional Education staff, counselors, and administrators to identify student needs, monitor progress, and implement effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II and Tier III math interventions for middle and/or high school students
- Analyze academic data to identify skill gaps and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop intervention plans
- Deliver small-group and individualized instruction
- Support students with executive functioning, organization, and study skills as needed
- Maintain documentation related to intervention services and student progress
- Participate in RTI, MTSS, IEP, and student support meetings as appropriate
- Help create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Support Ivy Academy’s mission, culture, and outdoor/environmental learning philosophy
Qualifications
- Endorsement in Mathematics preferred
- Experience working with struggling learners and/or intervention programs preferred
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of RTI/MTSS processes and progress monitoring tools preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Passion for innovative and student-centered education
