Landmark Management Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Groundskeeper/Porter for a large apartment community in Flowood, MS. This is a combined position that involves both groundskeeping and maintenance responsibilities, making it a perfect entry-level opportunity for someone with basic maintenance knowledge.
As a Groundskeeper/Porter, you will play a crucial role in creating the first impression of our community. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property, but also prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
This position reports to the lead tech and the property manager and requires attention to detail and the ability to follow directions. The right candidate will be:
- Hardworking
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Goal and Detail oriented to maintain clean property grounds and curb appeal
- Ability to lift up to 50LBS without assistance
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Adhere to all safety work practices
- Knowledgeable and Skilled in safe use of power tools and hand tools, example: Power Washer and Leaf Blower.
- Knowledgeable of basic maintenance
- Knowledgeable in cleaning and maintaining pools and pool chemicals
- Provide exceptional customer service and effectively communicate with residents, guests, visitors and staff within company policies and Fair Housing laws
Your Work Day might consist of:
- Inspecting Community Grounds throughout the day to remove litter/debris and ensure common areas are clean
- Clean and Maintain Pools
- Clean and Maintain Trash Receptacles in Common Areas
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant homes to start the make-ready process
- Power Washing Homes and Common Areas
- Deliver resident correspondences/announcements
