About the Role:
XRANM is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Collection Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. In this role, you will review, research, and resolve insurance claims while providing excellent support to patients and internal staff. If you have strong knowledge of medical billing, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Review unpaid or underpaid claims, EOBs, and correspondence; identify issues and resolve them appropriately.
- Research missing or incorrect patient/insurance information and update records.
- Resubmit corrected claims and document all account activity accurately.
- Assist patients by researching billing questions and processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members and occasionally help train staff on processes or insurance types.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical accounts receivable or medical insurance claims processing.
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing, EOBs, and claim workflows.
- Proficiency with Windows OS and standard office equipment; ability to learn multiple software systems.
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain HIPAA privacy and security standards.
