Job Description – Roll Off Driver (CDL B)
As a (CDL B) Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a commercial roll off truck - picking up, placing and transporting containers of paper and cardboard recycle material.
You should enjoy meeting people and be familiar with area nuances, such as back roads and traffic patterns. You must have consistent and reliable attendance and practice Safety First, Last and Always!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of prior experience driving commercial roll off trucks preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One year of prior experience driving commercial roll off trucks or equivalent military experience.
- Compactor container swap experience
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Valid DOT Medical Card/ Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 50 pounds frequently.
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
