Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and furniture using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
- Implement sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic environments in residential or commercial spaces
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas by sanitizing fixtures and surfaces
- Conduct outdoor cleaning tasks such as sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor furniture as needed
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving cleaning supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or residential housekeeping roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to complete cleaning tasks within designated schedules
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
